Step-by-step guide on how to book

This feature is currently live on Maersk.com for imports to and exports from countries listed below. For information on how to book for other countries, please contact us or see local information.

To be an online country: we can do Import and Export clearances for goods in or out of the country mention in below list through our online booking process. So as a customer of X country not live yet in below list you can still request imports to example India as the country is listed below as live. You cannot request customs clearance to a country not mention in below list. In our online booking process we off course make this visible to you and also don’t display the shipments where it is not possible to add customs in your MyCustoms view.

Book customs after ocean booking

MyCustoms, your integrated customs booking and management hub, provides many convenient online solutions for simple, efficient and fast customs clearance.

Here’s how you can add customs after booking your ocean shipment:

Go to MyCustoms: Log into the Maersk Logistics Hub and go to MyCustoms.
Add customs to a shipment: In MyCustoms, you will see a list of your Maersk shipments. Click on Show Prices for the shipment for which you want to add customs.
Choose a customs clearance option: Select from the available options. Accept Terms & Conditions and select Confirm customs booking.
Upload your documents: To complete your clearance, upload* the relevant documents.
Clearance status displayed: You can always see your next action and customs status. In case of any missing documents or clarifications, your local representative will contact you.

*If you already have a customs contract, your bookings are automatically added. Just upload your documents to get customs clearance.

Here’s how you can add export customs with your ocean shipment.

Start your New Ocean booking
Add customs to a shipment: In additional services page, you will see export customs listed for your Maersk shipment. Click on Add against the shipment.
Add shipper: You will be asked to add shipper to the booking.
Submit booking: Before you click submit booking the Maersk Customs Services Terms & Conditions will be listed for your review.
Upload your documents through MyCustoms: To complete your clearance, you will see a link after booking for you to manage customs clearance and upload the relevant documents.
Clearance status displayed: You can always see your next action and customs status. In case of any missing documents or clarifications, your local representative will contact you.
