CMR Document / “Frachtbrief”
The loading staff is responsible to check if the CMR Document was completely filled with the details mentioned below, before signing (and stamping) the document. In case of any discrepancies between driver and loading staff, the loading staff has to make a note on the CMR Document and should inform Maersk immediately or latest 24 hours after loading / unloading. This is important to prevent any inconsistencies on both sides. If data is missing, additional costs, like e.g. Waiting Time, will be charged to the customer. The customer is responsible to instruct the loading staff about these requirements.
Requires information in the following sequence (Date/Time):
- Arrival
- Start of Loading/Unloading
- End of Loading/Unloading
- Departure
Sealing Inland Transport
If pre-advised in the booking, we can offer a high security seal which will be handed to the customer´s loading staff at a cost of EUR 40. If this is not pre-advised, sealing at Inland or Sea Terminal will be charged as per current ESC (Extra Sealing Charge) tariff.
Waiting Time:
Depending on the arrival time of the trucker, the following waiting time calculation is applied:
- If trucker arrives on-time, free waiting time of two hours begins as from booked Order Deadline (if not differently contracted).
- If trucker arrives before Order Deadline, free waiting time of two hours begins as from loading/unloading, but not later than Order Deadline.
- If trucker arrives with delay, free Waiting Time of two hours begins with loading/unloading. This only applies, if the delay notification was sent before Order Deadline to our customers.
After the two hours, Waiting Time Fee is applicable and will be charged as per current WTO/WTD (Waiting Time Origin/Destination) tariff.
Cancellation Deadlines (time calculation is based on working days and excluded weekends):
For Direct Trucking (dry equipment), the following cancellation deadlines and charges apply:
- 36 hours before Order Deadline is free.
- between 36-24 hours before Order Deadline 50% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
- less than 24 hours before Order Deadline 100% of Inland Haulage Tariff.
For Direct Trucking (special equipment), the below cancellation deadlines and charges apply:
- 48 hours before Order Deadline is free.
- less than 48 hours before Order Deadline 100% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
For Combined Transport Import (dry and special equipment) / Export (special equipment), the below cancellation deadlines and charges apply:
- more than 72 hours before Order Deadline is free.
- between 48-72 hours before Order Deadline 50% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
- between 24-48 hours before Order Deadline 75% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
- less than 24 hours before Order Deadline 100% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
For Combined Transport Export (dry equipment), the below cancellation deadlines and charges apply:
- more than 48 hours before Order Deadline is free.
- between 24-48 hours before Order Deadline 50% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
- less than 24 before Order Deadline 100% of Inland Haulage Tariff applies.
