Thailand Export Demurrage and Detention Tariffs 2020
Effective 1st July 2020
Export : Our setup in Thailand will be demurrage and detention.
This means you will have separate free time and compensation for utilization of equipment inside (Demurrage) and outside (Detention) of terminals or depots including compensation for utilizing the port, terminal or depot facilities.
Demurrage means compensation incurred by customer for utilizing equipment beyond the given free time inside the terminal.
The calculation would begin from the 1st day of Return Container at depot/terminal until the vessel proforma.
Detention means compensation incurred by customer for utilizing equipment beyond the given free time outside the terminal.
The calculation would begin from the 1st day of CY container until the 1st day of Return Container at depot/terminal.
