Maersk - Legal entity name change

On 1st September 2020, we shared an announcement on the re-branding of the previous Damco activities that effective from 9th January 2021 we will no longer be sending you Damco branded documents. The Damco logo will be replaced by the Maersk logo.

As the next step, we are pleased to update that one of our Malaysia Logistics & Service legal entity name will be changed effective from 22nd Nov 2021. This is an important step in being the global integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying our customers’ supply chains.

This is a name change only and should have minimal impact on you and our business together.

To have smooth transition, we request your support to get the new name updated in your system so that all documents issued on or after 22nd November reflect the new name.

We would like to assure you that this change does not impact any contractual obligations.

There will be no change to our other legal entities, Maersk Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Damco Logistics Services Sdn. Bhd. and they will both remain status quo.
