As part of our integrated logistics strategy, we consistently look to bring ease, flexibility, and resilience to our customers’ supply chain. Uniting brands offers a consistent and simplified experience, as customers will be able to access our diversified and extended offering under a single brand identity.
Through this we aim to unify our structure to better reflect the reality of our customers’ supply chain challenges, giving customers more multimodality options and connectivity, all under one roof.
While the American Linehaul visual identity will be changed to the Maersk visual identity, the brand transition does not affect customer contracts, licensing, terms, conditions, or pricing. The main change for our customers is the Maersk visual identity replacing the American Linehaul visual identity on quotes, invoices, and similar commercial documents.
Should there be any changes, we will inform customers in a timely and open manner. We will handle the transition with the utmost care to ensure that any impact to customers is as minimal as possible. Should you have any further questions, please reach out to your current representative.
Transitioning to Maersk is a process. Changes to the website are anticipated around June 26, 2023. The timeline for the brand transition of assets will vary by state, depending on local complexity, number of assets, and so forth.
Throughout the transition, current account teams and terms and conditions (contracts, payment terms, etc.) will remain the same. No changes are expected on your account and on how and who you interact with. You will still be able to reach your representative at their usual contact numbers and email addresses. Representatives will reply to you from their @Maersk.com email address, which you can then enter into your contact list.
Should future changes occur, we will ensure to inform you in a timely manner and handle the transition with the utmost care to ensure minimal disruption for your company.
The brand transition will not affect customer billing. Whilst the Maersk visual identity will appear, the legal entity will remain unchanged. You will still use the same billing information and payment accounts as prior to the integration. We will inform you of any changes to the legal entity in timely manner so you can adjust your billing information. For now, billing information will continue to state American Linehaul.
Brand transition does not impact legal entities. The legal entity continues unchanged, and customer & supplier agreements are unaffected. We will inform you of any changes to this in a timely manner.

We are working to blend the best of American Linehaul’s capabilities with Maersk to bring an unmatched product set for our customers in order to connect their domestics and international supply chains while still enhancing our current landside product offerings across North America.
We believe that a unified Maersk offering will allow us to offer you the best of our organizations. It will also allow us to leverage our combined experience and capabilities to deliver the best service possible, while respecting all legal, fiscal and contract confidentiality requirements.
For now, you can continue to book and access information on services and products on americanlc.com. As additional changes are implemented, you will receive an email to notify you of any changes. There will also be messages posted on relevant pages to redirect you when the time comes.
You will be able to reach your American Linehaul representative at their usual email address that you have utilized prior to the brand transition. However, please note that you will receive replies from their @Maersk.com email address.
Customers can rest assured their information continues to be safe and secure. Maersk’s data ethics rules are designed to ensure that we continue to appropriately handle confidential, sensitive, and competitively strategic information (CSI) of our customers, including that of their suppliers and partners. Specifically, these rules are designed to prevent direct, indirect, and accidental access to third-party CSI and ensure that their data is appropriately handled, stored, and access controlled within Maersk, to protect your trust.
Maersk has been active on different levels of the transport and logistics supply chain for decades. We are sensitive to the fact that this may result in cases where one part of Maersk is in a customer or supplier relationship with a third party, and another part of Maersk may compete directly with that same third party. We have maintained a proven track record over the years of protecting and ring-fencing third-party confidential data from being accessible to other parts of the Maersk organization.
As this brand transition will not impact our organizational or legal structures or rules regarding confidentiality of supplier information, and solely concerns a visual identity change, our supplier relations and agreements are unaffected, and it will be business as usual. Maersk contract templates for new agreements will be made available to ensure general contract standardization.
We are, and will always be, committed to operating our business in compliance with all laws.
