Maersk leadership teams, as well as management in all other areas where cases of COVID-19 have been identified, are closely monitoring the situation as part of our strong commitment to ensure the safety of our employees whilst working towards mitigating any possible impact to our customers’ operations.

General Status

As a result of the health, safety and preventive measures implemented by the Government due to cases of the COVID-19, we have activated our internal protocol for safety and business continuity plan.

For this we would like to inform that Maersk continues 100% operation on a Global and Local scale. All our offices remain open and our employees have the opportunity of working from home with no business disruption. This way we can guarantee the continuity of your business responding effectively to your commercial and operational needs.

In order to be fully compliant with the regulations, as of 26/03 we will keep our office in Limassol open three days per week, Tuesday to Thursdays, from 09:00 to 11:00, in order to perform the activities that require a physical presence, such as

  • Printing and shipping original B/Ls
  • Receiving BLs and other relevant documents
  • Issuing Delivery Orders that require original B/L

Delivery orders under Waybill in this period will be sent via email, you are kindly requested to send us an email to maria.tofalli@maersk.com with your bank transfer receipt so we can release the Delivery Order and send you a scanned copy on your email.

We would like to remind you that we are also providing you alternatives for the above activities

  • You can use the telex release option or the seaway BL.
  • Original BLs printing can be done from the comfort of your home, or, should you want to, from any Maersk office around the world.

During this uncertain period when you may face challenges in your logistics supply chain, we are here to support you with efficient solutions – i.e. storage options. Different storage solutions are available both in our inland depots and warehouses. Contact us to learn more about this.
