Please be informed about the implementation of a pick-up / drop-off charge for receiving/returning empty containers at depots in Hamburg, Bremerhaven or Wilhelmshaven in case the location is different to the booked load/discharge port for that shipment (Example: pick-up at Hamburg – load port: Bremerhaven).
This charge is implemented in view of the increasing demand of empty container positioning. It shall also contribute to safeguard the availability of empty equipment for our customers in future.
Kindly refer to the tariff levels as updated under Germany - Export (Container pick-up) and Germany - Import (Container drop-off).
