Payer Amendment Fee – Destination (PAD) - Revised

The Payer Amendment Fee – Destination (PAD) is an existing charge applicable when a payer amendment is requested. Effective 8 October 2026, the basis for determining this permissible amendment window will change. Instead of being calculated from the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), the amendment window will be determined based on the first collect/import and Demurrage/Storage & Detention invoice generation date. Requests received after the applicable threshold will continue to incur the Payer Amendment Fee – Destination (PAD) - The fee (including tariff and currency) will be applied based on the cargo destination country

The date of 8 October 2026 refers to the request for re-issue of the invoice.

You can view the permissible payer amendment window/threshold (non-chargeable) applicable for your shipment on our website as below: -

1. Log in to Maersk.com via the Maersk Hub.
2. Enter the Bill of Lading number in the Delivery Order widget.
3. Under Other Actions, select View/Change Payers.
