Maersk are committed to delivering service offerings which aim to overcome supply chain disruptions and provide our customers with improved transparency in response to contingency events.
Following from our recent advisory dated 26th August advising you of the technical issues on the MAERSK BALI 432N which will restrict the loading and carriage of reefer containers on the vessel, we can confirm that our teams have concluded a high priority review of all available options to secure the additional capacity to alleviate and minimise any further delays to your cargo.
We are pleased to share the following contingencies:
- OC1 vessels SPIRIT OF MELBOURNE 433A and MAERSK WELLINGTON 434N will assist with loading of nominated ex-MAERSK BALI 432N reefers.
- AS SABINE 433W, currently deployed on the Polaris service, will re-route and induce a call at Tauranga to also load nominated ex-MAERSK BALI 432N reefers. The vessel will then proceed through to Balboa where these units will discharge for onward connection.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience. Our local Maersk Customer Experience teams will be in touch to assist with the alternate routing and vessel options.
Thank you for your ongoing support in trusting Maersk as your supply chain partner. Should you have any questions please contact our Customer Experience Team via our Live Chat channel.
