Southern Star Rio Blanco 350S/401N Sydney Omission and Vessel Swap with Maersk Rio Negro 349S/352N

We wish to advise that due to delays arising from the DP World Industrial Action, the Sydney berth window for MAERSK RIO NEGRO 349S/352N has been heavily impacted.

To mitigate any further impact to the schedule and to avoid a slide on the Southern Star service, MAERSK RIO NEGRO 349S/352N will perform a position swap with RIO BLANCO 350S/401N from Tauranga onwards, with MAERSK RIO NEGRO 349S/401N calling Sydney in the previous position of RIO BLANCO 350S/401N.

RIO BLANCO 350S/352N will now omit Sydney to mitigate any further impact to scheduling.

There will also be a voyage number swap for MAERSK RIO NEGRO 352N/404S and RIO BLANCO 401N/405S from the northbound voyages onwards, to become MAERSK RIO NEGRO 401N/405S and RIO BLANCO 352N/404S and so on.

The revised schedule* is expected to be as follows:

• Sydney imports from the hubs on MAERSK RIO NEGRO 349S will discharge as planned but with a 7-day delay.
• Sydney imports previously on RIO BLANCO 350S will be transferred at the hubs to RIO BRAVO 351S.
• Sydney exports previously on MAERSK RIO NEGRO 352N will be updated to load MAERSK RIO NEGRO 401N with a 7-day delay.
• Sydney exports previously on RIO BLANCO 401N will be updated to load MAERSK RIO NEGRO 401N with no delay to cargo.
• New Zealand imports from the hubs on MAERSK RIO NEGRO 349S will discharge as planned but with a 7-day delay.
• New Zealand imports previously on RIO BLANCO 350S from the hubs will still load as planned but will arrive 7-days earlier into New Zealand.
• New Zealand exports previously on MAERSK RIO NEGRO 352N will be updated to load RIO BLANCO 352N with no delay to cargo.
• New Zealand exports previously on RIO BLANCO 401N will be updated to load MAERSK RIO NEGRO 401N with no delay to cargo.
