In response to the latest global environment that impacts supply chains involving Japan, Maersk has decided to restructure the Sakura Service to better serve you, our customer.

The network change aims to ensure that we are better able to serve the import and export demands for the Japan market with a reliable and more frequent connections on the key corridors. The new Sakura Service will run Shanghai – Yokohama (only Import) – Nagoya - Shanghai – Kobe – Yokohama – Shanghai

The changes to the Sakura service will continue to ensure secured connection of your cargo to the key main services in Shanghai without compromising on the overall transit times you presently enjoy on Maersk’s current service offering.

Please feel free to reach out to your local Maersk Customer Service representatives or check Local Information and Schedules for more details.

First Sakura call with the new rotation will be in Week 02, 2022 in Shanghai.
