Following up the empty return regulation in Maersk, we want to share with you the update related to appointed depot where you need to return empty container to for Maersk shipments - Jakarta. Starting from vessel MEXICO 147S – ETA 5 DEC 2021, please return the empty container to SEACON BINTANG SEJAHTERA - JAKARTA with below details.

Here is how to check the appointed depot information for empty container return

• Go to MDDC Website
• Click on DnD Calculation tab
• Choose the Place of Delivery (POD) of your shipment
• Search your BL number in the provided column

After the search is done, details of appointed depot information will be shown in the web.

Kindly follow the information in the web for the empty return appointed depot. Container can be returned to the appointed depot if it is still within freetime.

If your freetime already ended, kindly return the empty container to the primary depot. This is to avoid any discrepancy in Detention and Demurrage (DnD) charge calculation.

Any issues that may happen due to empty container return not done at the correct depot will be under customer’s responsibility.
