As of 1 October, Damco will be further integrated into the Maersk group, adding its Air freight and Less than Container Load (LCL) to the Maersk portfolio of logistics and services products to complement our end-to-end offering, building on its strength and expertise in this field.

As part of our integrator services, we want to use our own Maersk Ocean products to offer unique value propositions hence the multi-carrier Ocean freight option will not be pursued in the future.

If we are providing you with an Air or LCL service today, we will continue to do so tomorrow under the Maersk umbrella and meet all of our contractual obligations. These products and services will continue to be provided and invoiced by the same legal entities as today hence no change is required in how we operate together. We are not going to pursue the Ocean FCL Multi-carrier product (NVOCC) as a general offering. As part of our integrator portfolio, we want to use our own Ocean products to offer you unique value propositions. We will work closely with you to find the best future set-up with an alternative offering within the Maersk portfolio. This could be in the form of direct ocean contract with Maersk or Twill or our newly launched Booking Services product if you want us to book on your behalf.
