We’re offering affordable short-term storage solutions for your cargo at one of our depots so that you can avoid paying high demurrage costs. What’s more, your goods will be positioned close to your key markets so that they’re ready to be shipped quickly once the lockdown barriers are gone.

Benefits of non-bonded depot solutions
Available for both export and import shipments:
Relieving pressure on your storage facilities
No minimum quantity commitment required
Flexibility to purchase on a daily basis
Cost free demurrage by booking the depot solutions in advance
Conditions
- This product is applicable for 20’, 40’, 45’ Dry and reefers boxes only
- Offering repair and maintenance of Reefer as well as Dry Containers
- Shipping line detention remains responsibility of customer
- In lots first available container will be delivered on FIFO basis
- This is a non-bonded facility
- Customer is responsible to handover sealed containers only
- Depot will notify variance if un-sealed containers are received. We will apply padlock at cost and the risk of customer in front of customer representative
- Maersk will not be responsible for the damage to the container due to factors beyond our control e.g. Force Majure, act of GOD, Civil Commotions, Violence, Strikes etc.
- All Maersk standard terms & conditions would be applicable and are available at Maersk
Benefits of bonded depot solutions
Available for import shipments:
Relieving pressure on your storage facilities
No minimum quantity commitment required
Flexibility to purchase storage on daily basis
Very lucrative 45 days free on demurrage
Detention is calculated from the time containers reach AICT instead of QICT
Greater flexibility to manage cash flow by extending the time to pay duties up until delivery
Conditions
- Charges are exclusive of all taxes that might be applicable
- This product is applicable for 20’, 40’, 45’ Dry and reefers boxes only
- Offering repair and maintenance of Reefer as well as Dry Containers
- This product will not be applicable for import shipments into Afghanistan and any other ICDs
- This product will not be applicable for containers that are already discharged and uncleared at QICT
- Shipper/Importer to request for AICT manifestation 72 hours before vessel arrival at QICT
- Maersk Spot Import shipments will be excluded from this product unless booked for AICT at the time of booking from origin
- Shipping line detention remains responsibility of customer
- QICT terminal charges applicable would be charged at actual. These may include FAC, Wharfage, Data Transfer, Weighment, Scanner, System processing, Truck in charges/Bank etc.
- All payments shall be made by the importer at AICT customer services window before delivery
- Tariff is for CY/CY cargo only
- Cargo stuffing, de-stuffing, sealing, resealing charges, if applied will be at actuals
- Maersk will not be responsible for the damage to the container due to factors beyond our control e.g. Force Majure, act of GOD, Civil Commotions, Violence, Strikes etc.
