Nestle Purina and Maersk united for a more sustainable world

Find out about the partnership between Nestlé Purina and Maersk, joining forces to revitalize the train as a more sustainable model to transport products from the factory to the port. This project started when both Nestlé Purina and Maersk aligned and found common objectives toward more sustainable logistics.

One truck, one wagon won’t make a difference, but it is a small step of a long journey, and we need everyone to get on the train and together we can do much more.

Maersk solutions support Nestle Purina´s sustainability goals since the train has helped reduce its carbon footprint when moving its products from the factory in Teno to the San Antonio Port in Chile, to start the export journey.

For Maersk, this is an important project of sustainability, working together with Nestlé, Purina we have found concrete actions and seeking common sustainability goals for a better world.

With the revitalization of the train, we are reducing the CO2 emissions, decongesting the routes, developing the communities around it, and having certainty in the delivery schedules in the port. A great example of two industry leaders working together towards having more efficient logistics and reaching the zero emissions goal by 2050.
