With over 8,500 recent scientific papers published in the last few years, strong academic interest highlights the trend’s importance – ranking it among the top for both industry and academia. Supply chain diversification can spread risks across suppliers, routes, and regions, meaning businesses can better manage disruptions.

Technological advancements like supply chain visibility, the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital transformation are also reshaping chemical logistics, valued for tackling multiple challenges simultaneously.
