From a survey of 570 global logistics decision makers for The Logistics Trend Map, 88% of those in the pharma and healthcare industry rated Internet of Things devices (IoT) as a critical trend, followed by supply chain visibility (86%).

Internet of Things (IoT) devices deliver real-time insights, such as temperature and location, that help maintain product quality throughout the supply chain. Increased visibility across a more diverse supply chain enables companies to proactively respond to disruptions and ensure that products reach their destinations on time and in perfect condition.

Geopolitical disruptions are listed as the top challenge by decision makers in the sector (59%), followed by laws and regulations (49%).
