To better support your growing Asia–West Africa supply chain needs, we are strengthening our network with a more efficient service design. Starting Q2 2026, we will introduce an additional service and optimize our existing setup to provide greater stability, increased capacity, and more focused West Africa coverage.

What Is Changing?

Beginning Q2 2026, our current FEW3 service will be complemented by a new FEW1 service. Together, these two lean and enhanced services will create a more reliable and robust network between Asia and West Africa.

FEW3 Rotation: Qingdao–Ningbo–Nansha New Port–Tanjung Pelepas–Tema–Abidjan–Pointe Noire–Tanjung Pelepas. The first vessel (Maersk Campbell) in this rotation is expected to depart on 29th March 2026 from Qingdao

FEW1 Rotation: Qingdao–Ningbo–Nansa New Port–Shekou–Singapore–Abidjan–Lekki–Kribi–Vungtau. The first vessel (CMA CGM Bali) in this rotation is expected to depart on 31st March 2026 from Qingdao

What This Means for You

1. Increased Capacity to Support Your Business Growth

We are adding a completely new service to accommodate the increasing demand on the Asia–West Africa corridor. This expansion reflects our continued commitment to your business and the long-term development of the region.

2. More Reliable, Streamlined Rotations

By dividing the current FEW3 rotation into two focused services FEW3 and FEW1 we reduce operational complexity. This improvement enhances schedule stability and overall service reliability, ensuring a smoother and more predictable flow for your cargo.

3. Continued Extensive West Africa Coverage

Your access to key West Africa markets remains unchanged. You will benefit from our updated Asia–WAF network which will now offer four direct services instead of three, thereby offering broader coverage delivered in an even more effective configuration.

What’s Not Changing

  • We continue serving all major West Africa ports you rely on today
  • Competitive transit times remain unchanged
  • Our long-standing commitment to the Asia–West Africa trade remains firm and forward looking

Should you have any questions or need assistance planning your shipments under the updated setup, please contact your dedicated Maersk representative. We are here to ensure a smooth transition and to help you make the most of the enhanced network.

Thank you for your continued trust. We look forward to supporting your business growth with an even stronger and more reliable service offering.
