Cold Treatment Service (CTS) Rate Increase

Effective January 1st, 2026, the Cold Treatment Service (CTS) charge for the full Maersk Cold Treatment service will increase from $1000 USD to $1100 USD, per container. The service includes probe calibration and installation at origin, live monitoring by a dedicated team and ensuring datalog data is submitted to authorities at destination.

Since our last rate increase, our costs of delivering this service have gone up and at the same time our Cold Treatment failure percentage has gone down for 2025 (global average).
