KiwiRail Block of Line – Labour Weekend - Services between Port of Tauranga and Auckland Metroport

Due to a KiwiRail Block of Line scheduled for the upcoming Labour weekend, there will be no rail services operating between the Port of Tauranga and Auckland Metroport during the closure from Friday 25th October to Monday 28th October (inclusive).

  • Friday 25th October – last train departing Port of Tauranga 20:00hrs
  • Monday 28th October – first train departing Port of Tauranga 20:00hrs

Maersk is committed to providing the best possible service to ensure your supply chain functions as seamlessly as possible. Our teams have been in discussion with the Port of Tauranga with regards to additional rail capacity aimed at mitigating delivery delays prior to and following the scheduled rail closure and will continue to share relevant updates.
