Merchant Gate Fee (Import) – Predio de Maersk Logistics & Services Costa Rica, S.A. in Caldera

As part of ongoing efforts to improve our services and provide communication about the status of the services, we inform you that as of March 18, 2024, the fee of US$100 for Merchant Gate for Merchant import containers will be effective at the RADA container depot. in Caldera, which as of March 1, 2024 is called “Predio de Maersk Logistics & Services Costa Rica, S.A. en Caldera.”

For purposes of the payments corresponding to the Merchant Gates, proof of payment must be attached to the Request for Container Pickup Appointment email, which must be sent to the address citascaldera@maersk.com, where you must indicate in the subject the number of the container and the corresponding BL. Once the payment is validated, the invoice will be issued by Maersk Logistics & Services Costa Rica, S.A. (formerly RADA S.A.). The invoice will be issued in the name of the client (cargo owner/consignee). In case the invoice is required to be issued in the name of another company name such as the trucker or Customs Brokerage Agency, you should contact your Maersk Sales Representative for the creation of the customer prior to requesting the appointment.

The working hours of our financial team is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however, it is important to send the proof of payment no later than 4:00 p.m., to verify the same in the account of Maersk Logistics & Services Costa Rica, S.A. Once confirmed, we will proceed to assign the appointment for container pick up.

Keep in mind that Maersk Logistics & Services Costa Rica, S.A. will have three (3) working hours to grant the appointment from the moment the request is made and once the payment has been verified in banks.
