Certified Pick up - 5th Customer Advisory

Referring to our earlier advisory of January 4, we hereby provide you with the current status on the CPu-project. It was decided by POAB and NxtPort in consultation with terminals, ship agents, transport companies and other stakeholders, to move to a phased roll-out of Certified Pick up, to spread the pressure for the users and to guarantee the performance of the system.

What does this mean for you as a valued Maersk customer ?

1. Maersk has decided to go live on January 15, 2024 with PSA as terminal operator at berth 869 and 913. This means that for those terminals the commercial releases will flow via CPu and containers should be picked up according the set rules by CPu. Our release orders will still contain pin codes, however these will NOT be used by PSA. Only the release right from CPu will be recognized.
2. For MPET and DPW (AG) terminals, this phased roll-out of Certified Pick up means that we will continue to release your cargo via pin codes and only move to the CPu-platform in a later phase. Further information concerning this date will follow.

If you are not yet registered, kindly register your company with the Port of Antwerp Bruges and bear in mind that for Maersk the APCS code is the unique identifier (https://register.portofantwerpbruges.com/account/#/).
