We would like to inform you that, that European Union (EU) has approved update to the UCC Work Programme which revised the start date for ICS 2 Release 3 for maritime shipments from 1 March 2024 to 3 June 2024.
The updated UCC Work Programme now includes a 3-step implementation plan for Release 3 starting with migrating first maritime carriers, followed by ICS 2 house filers and finally for parties responsible for road and rail shipments entering the EU.

All Member States must be able to accept ICS 2 filings from carriers that are ready and compliant, from the first date of the deployment window. |

Step 2: House Filers:
Freight forwarders filing at house bill of lading level will be migrated to ICS 2 in step 2. Prior to their migration authorities will not expect the ENS from carriers to contain house bill of lading information unless the carrier will file it. |
