Further to our announcement sent 3rd November regarding the advanced Melbourne departure and subsequent rolling of cargo from SPIRIT OF MELBOURNE 238S/244N, please be advised that affected Trans-Tasman cargo for Tauranga discharge will be updated to load SOVEREIGN MAERSK 244W calling Melbourne VICT terminal.

Due to current rail capacity demand, 40’ cargo destined for Auckland Metroport via Tauranga, is expected to remain for loading on the previously advised OC1 vessels OLUF MAERSK 245N and MAERSK WILLEMSTADT 246N.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. The decision to load affected cargo on the ad-hoc Melbourne VICT caller has been taken to minimise the likelihood of extended delays into the NZ market.

The revised schedule for SOVEREIGN MAERSK 244W is expected to be as follows:

Port DIR Berth Window
Berth Window
19/11/2022 -20/11/2022
Berth Window
29/11/2022 -01/12/2022

Our teams are currently updating all affected bookings and will provide revised booking details once available. Should you have any questions please contact our Customer Experience Team via our Live Chat channel.
