In line with the increase in Tariff by Transnet, Maersk is adjusting all invoices to recover the Third Party Cost for Import Terminal Handling Service Destination (DHC) for all cargo World to South Africa, effective 01st April 2022. We had previously issued an advisory 15th February 2022 which we attach of reference.
Please could you be guided that we will be recovering the difference in THC on invoices either as:
- Port Additional/Port Dues Import where we are able to automatically update the charge
- Additional Import Service Charge where we are effecting a manual process to update
