Far East Asia to North Europe AE55 – AE6 Service

The recent unprecedented situation of severe port congestions globally has resulted in accumulation of delays across services on the Asia to North Europe Network. This situation is driven by a combination of rapidly increased demand and measures to fight the pandemic across ports and supply chains in general.

As a result of the high yard density and exceptional waiting time for our vessels in the port of Antwerp, Maersk had decided on the AE55 service to omit Antwerp and to induce Le Havre for the next 6 voyages. The affected Antwerp import volumes can be served on the AE6 service.

In effort to provide improved schedule reliability to our customers, it has been decided to consolidate the Antwerp call on the AE6 service and to further omit Le Havre for the next 6 voyages. The affected Le Havre import volumes can be served on the AE55 service.

We aim to minimize the impact to our customers and will communicate any further changes separately in due course.
