The recent unprecedented situation of severe port congestions globally has resulted in accumulation of delays across services on the Asia to North Europe Network. This situation is driven by a combination of rapidly increased demand and measures to fight the pandemic across ports and supply chains in general. These accumulated delays are currently causing gaps with the line-up and resulted in Asia departures been spread apart by more than 7 days.
To provide improved schedule visibility to our customers and after careful review of the schedules, Maersk has decided to adjust the voyage number starting from below sailing in order to match with corresponding actual departure week of the vessels.
We aim to minimize the impact to our customers and will communicate any further changes separately in due course.
