Refresher of No VGM No Load Policy
We want to reemphasize regarding Maersk No VGM No Load policy.
As per our advisory on 14 March 2020.
In spirit of ensuring the good and safe planning of container stacking on a vessel, we would like to emphasize that Verified Gross Mass (VGM) must be updated for all shipments. VGM submission is customer responsibility. Therefore, kindly submit the VGM latest two (2) days prior to Estimate Time Departure Date (ETD). For vessel that departs on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, kindly submit the VGM latest on Friday.
If we found VGM is not updated on your shipment latest two (2) days prior to Estimate Time Departure Date (ETD), there will be risk that your shipment will be shut out and rolled to next available schedule.
For the booking that have more than 1 container, there might be split BL if there is any non compliance container/missing VGM on the booking. Its effective since 31st March 2020.
If you need to extend closing CY, please ensure that the SI+VGM has been submitted.
Please kindly take note that any charges occurred will be under customer responsibility.
For any additional inquiries, we invite you to contact our Customer Service representative.
Thank you for your continuous support.
