United Kingdom Export D&D tariff - Effective July 1, 2021

Maersk’s United Kingdom export D&D tariffs will be revised for shipments with an origin price calculation date (PCD) on or after 1st July 2021. Please note that free time is in calendar days and charges thereafter are in GBP, applicable per container per calendar day.

Export Detention (all UK ports including Belfast)

Equipment detention commences on and includes the day that the empty container is collected and ends on the day that the full container is gated-in at the first load port.

Shippers’ own containers (SOC) will not be subject to equipment detention charges
The free time & charges applied will be those in place on the origin price calculation date (PCD)
Cancelled (frustrated) exports will be subject to detention charges without free time

Export Demurrage (all UK ports except Felixstowe & Belfast)

Demurrage (including equipment & storage) commences on and includes the day that the full container is gated-in at the first load port and ends on the planned arrival day of the vessel on which, at time of gate-in, the container is booked to load.
