OC1 Service schedule adjustments – Temporary port omissions of Port Chalmers & Napier
The New Zealand supply chain continue to be impacted by suspension of proforma berthing windows impacting our schedules. To protect schedule reliability and continue to enable a weekly connection between Oceania and Americas, we will be making the following temporary service adjustments to the OC1 schedule.
The ports of Port Chalmers and Napier in New Zealand will be alternately omitted starting with the vessel Spirit of Sydney 115N on May 9th omitting Port Chalmers and Oluf Maersk 116N on May 16th omitting Napier. The last vessels impacted by this temporary schedule change will be the Olga Maersk 131N on August 13th omitting Port Chalmers and the Spirit of Melbourne 132N on August 23rd omitting Napier. We will continue to review the port situation and the opportunity to reinstate the calls in Napier & Port Chalmers on a weekly basis.
At Maersk we remain committed to servicing New Zealand and continue to review opportunities to minimize overall impact on our Ocean Network to enable trade between New Zealand and the World despite the current bottlenecks across the New Zealand supply chain.
