Due to crew resource limitations as a result of COVID-19, we have received official notices from Hong Kong barge service providers that coverage into Chinese inland ports will be unavailable from January 20, 2021 until the end of February.
Compared to previous years, the suspension of services has been advanced by 2 weeks this year to account for quarantine requirements as a result of the epidemic.
During this time, alternative transhipment services via Chiwan/Shekou or Nansha are available.
For the below inland locations, due to lack of alternative solution for both export and import, please expect long layovers or delays. For special cargoes import (reefer, DG, OOG, etc.) acceptance into these locations will be suspended.
Fangcheng, Qinzhou, Beihai, Zhanjiang, Yangpu, Haikou, Shantou, Shuidong, Lianhuashan, Xintang, Jiaoxin, Wuzhou
For specific schedule or if any additional questions, please feel free to contact your local customer service or sales representatives. You can also find contact details of our local office on Maersk website.
