In relation to the COVID-19 effect, we have seen a significant reduction in demand from Indian Subcontinent and Middle East to South and West Africa. Consequently, Maersk has endeavored to make a series of service adjustments to match demand as published earlier on Middle East & Indian Subcontinent – South and West Africa Services
These changes will in turn have a significant impact on the north-bound coverage from South Africa to Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. In order to provide the required coverage, especially for the essential export cargo, we will make alternate sailing between PROTEA and MESAWA as described below to ensure our customers face little business disruption.
