Following the outbreak of COVID-19 the Fijian government has decided to cease acceptance of all container vessels at the port of Lautoka with immediate effect. The port of Suva will remain open to enable continued access of shipping services to Fiji from the rest of the world.
Import cargo to Lautoka, Fiji
Maersk will change the final delivery location to Suva, for any cargo currently on the water with final destination to Lautoka. We kindly request our customers to arrange cargo clearance and pick-up at port of Suva during this period.
For cargo that currently has been discharged at the port of Lautoka or gated-in at the port of Lautoka, the Fiji Port Corporation Limited will be granting 10 days additional storage free of charge to support our customers during these exceptional circumstances.
Export cargo from Lautoka, Fiji
For any export cargo yet to gate-in at the port of Lautoka Maersk will offer you the option to change place of receipt to Suva.
