Ambition
To ensure that we prevent and address adverse human rights impacts associated with our business activities.
Targets
2019: Anchor human rights due diligence in the company's overall governance system. Continue to close identified gaps in relation to standards for employees in our company and in the supply chain. Conduct further analysis of human rights risks related to the digitisation of our business.
2020: Continue to embed human rights into company-wide governance and compliance systems.
Progress 2019
Our commitment to human rights was included in the Maersk employee Code of Conduct. We worked on assessing ethics in the use of artificial intelligence, and contributed to shipping industry guides to human rights.
