Import tariff charges effective from 1 March 2022
Our setup in Cambodia will be Combined Demurrage & Detention effective from 1 March 2022 PCD.
This means you will have one combined free time period and compensation for utilization of equipment inside and outside of terminals or depots, referred to as Combined Demurrage & Detention.
The Combined Demurrage and Detention Import will be calculated based on the actual “Discharge” date of the container.

Special Cargoes
OOG, B/B and IMO cargoes are subject to standard Maersk approval procedures. Please contact Operations (cboopsequ@maersk.com) for more detailed information.
Special Customs Requirement
Effective 1 October 2006. Transport Document, Manifest must reflect REAL shipper/consignee detail. In case above requirement is not met, House B/L showing REAL shipper/consignee must attach and send to Customer Care import (kh.import@maersk.com) for customs submission. This also applies for transshipment cargoes and SOC containers. Consignee or Notify Party must be local.
Freight Acceptance
Freight collect acceptable except for import of personal effects and reefer cargo which must be freight prepaid at origin.

- Gambling equipment or machine
- Tabacco products containing Goa/Gutka
- Used computer and parts
- Dangerous cargo (please sent request before acceptance)
- Personal Effect / Household cargo and Second-Hand cargo are NOT accepted for import to Cambodia with transshipment via Vietnam ports due to transshipment customs law of Vietnam. Please route cargo directly to Sihanoukville port (no transshipment via Vietnam) instead.
- Meat & Bone Meal, Import of this commodities to Phnom Penh Port via Vietnam, customer has to submit the VET which is issued by Vietnam Veterinary Office as Circular 25/2016/TT-BNNPTNT dated 30/06/2016. VET submission must be 7 days before shipment arrive Vietnam Port. In case of any delay from customer for this document, we will collect demurrage charge from the time cargo pending at Vietnam Port. Alternatively, please book to Sihanoukville Port instead.

It’s mandatory required consignee who must submit customs permit/import license to carrier before booking acceptance.
The Consignee’s address must be full address and update in system.
Weight Limit
In Sihanoukville Port we can accept up to 30.5 metric tons, all weight include container tare.
In Phnom Penh Port we can accept up to 24 metric tons for 20' and 30 metric tons for 40'/45', all weight include container tare
Service Mode
We only provide service mode as CY to Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville Port.
