インゲージ貨物
- 貨物寸法がコンテナ標準規格に収まるものを指します。
- インゲージ貨物の例としては、上部からオープントップコンテナに積載可能な機械類または大型の樹木などが挙げられます。

オーバーゲージ貨物
- オーバーゲージ貨物は、フラットラックやオープントップの長さ、幅、または高さを超過するものの、コンテナ内に適切に積載が可能な貨物です。
- オーバーゲージ貨物の例としては、プロペラ、フランジ、トラックなどが挙げられます。
ブレイクバルク貨物
- コンテナ標準規格をサイズまたは重量において大幅に超過するため、ユニット化されない貨物として取り扱われます。通常は多数のラッシングポイントを使用してフラットラックの土台に配置されます。
- ブレイクバルク貨物の例としては、ヨット、マスト、産業機械、電車車両などが挙げられます。
