Congestion Fee Destination (CFD) / Congestion Fee Origin (CFO) Acajutla, El Salvador and Corinto, Nicaragua

Due to continued operational challenges including extended waiting times in the range of 7-10 days, please note we will implement a port congestion surcharge for all cargo to and from Acajutla, El Salvador and Corinto, Nicaragua terminals effective November 17, 2024.

The tariff details are as follows:

Surcharge Code CFD	Direction Import	Origin World	Destination Nicaragua	Container type All Containers	Rate 1,000 USD
Surcharge Code CFO	Direction Export	Origin El Salvador	Destination World	Container type All Containers	Rate 1,000 USD
Surcharge Code CFO	Direction Export	Origin Nicaragua	Destination World	Container type All Containers	Rate 1,000 USD

This will allow Maersk to continue to work on measures to lessen the impact from these adverse operational conditions including maintain regular port calls in our services’ standard rotations.
