How to Manage Allocations on Maersk: A Complete Guide

Log in to your Maersk account, and you’ll land on the hub dashboard. You can access all your data and tools needed to manage your shipments here.

On the left-hand navigation menu, you’ll find the ‘Allocations’ tab. Alternatively, scroll down the main dashboard and find the ‘Allocations’ widget that’s updated weekly. From here, either go to a particular route or view all allocations.

Note: If you don’t see an allocation tab on your navigation menu, contact our live support team, and we’ll update it as quickly as possible.

The first section on the portal is the dashboard. It gives you a high-level view of all your allocated FFEs (forty-foot equivalent units) – what is booked and available for all shipping routes. You can also see the data for any time range.

You’ll see the ‘Route Overview & Allocations’ tab next to the dashboard. It will give you detailed information for allocations on a specific route during the proforma week.

• Here, you can filter the allocations by Route, Port/Inland location, or Service name and direction.
• Scroll down, and you’ll see individual allocation IDs on the selected route along with other details, like service contract number, product type, booked, and available FFEs.
• You can also click on any allocation ID and get a detailed breakdown. In the graph, click on a particular week to view commodity details for each shipment.

Note: On the individual allocation ID view in ‘Allocations’, you can also download all data.

In the ‘Cancelled Shipments’ section, you can view the details of any canceled bookings. Filter it for the week you want to see. This section will be blank if you don’t have any canceled bookings for the selected week.

Finally, in the ‘Allocations Expiring’ section, you’ll see allocations expiring in the next 60 days. It will also show you the contract number, allocation ID, and expiry date.

Note: If you have any expiring allocations, contact our support team to get them renewed.

Note: Our allocation portal updates every four hours. So, if you have updated something or see a discrepancy in the displayed information, please give it some time to update.
