Activation of Import/Export Acceptance – Kribi Cameroon

In order to keep providing you with our global services, Maersk Cameroon is pleased to announce the opening of Import/Export acceptance at Kribi Port with effective April 22nd, 2020 from / to middle destinations through our MESSAWA. The product would be valid from May 2020 to August 2020 with a possible extension into quarter 4 2020. From Demurrage and Detention perspective, the current setup we have in Douala port would be extended to Kribi, with same freetime days and per diem. The information is available on our local country page on Maersk Cameroon.

Following local chares are excluded (GTE/GTI; EXP/IMP; ULI/ULE; PAE/PAI) when the cargo is discharged in Kribi as they are directly paid by customers to customs authorities.
