Please note the responsibility to ensure the temperature is stepped up rests with the Shipper. The Shipper, or his/her appointed agent, is to send instruction 2 days prior to when the step-up is required to PPECB with za.export@maersk.com in copy for Maersk Line shipments.
Should step-up date fall on a weekend, the step-up instruction is to be sent by latest 16h30 on the Friday prior the weekend of step-up.
Kindly use the below format when sending your email instruction:
Subject: FSM/Step-Up – Bill #
Body of mail: Please step-up below containers to temp xxx degree Celsius on xxx date
Maersk will update the booking, tracking and ensure the container temperature is amended as per your request.
