Lee Green’s story
Being profoundly deaf, Lee attended a boarding school for the hearing impaired. Sadly, this did not prepare him for the future world of work, and he consequently struggled to find a suitable career.
After a long search for an apprenticeship, Lee joined Maersk, where he discovered the support he had been looking for.

Embracing neurodiversity
Diversity in all forms brings talent to our organisation and we are looking at ways to offer individuals with neurodiverse needs pathways to thriving careers.
As part of this focus, we work with partners to create recruitment programmes tailored towards neurodiversity hiring. In this way, we connect individuals to roles that allow them to grow, and ensure that their managers are fully equipped to support them.
