A.P. Moller - Maersk consists of Maersk, APM Terminals, Damco, Svitzer and Maersk Container Industry. The mission of these businesses is to enable and facilitate global supply chains and provide opportunities for our customers to trade globally.



The world’s largest container shipping company, known for reliable, flexible and eco-efficient services. The Maersk business also includes Safmarine and Sealand - A Maersk Company. The company operates all over the world and has a fleet of 639 ships which sail every major trade lane on the globe.



APM terminals

Provides port and inland infrastructure to drive global commerce.  It is currently active in 73 ports and terminals in 36 countries with six new terminal development projects and 11 expansion programs now underway, along with 154 Inland Services locations in 46 countries.



A world leading provider of freight forwarding and supply chain management services. Damco's focus is on simplifying complex supply chains, uncovering efficiency improvements that enable their customers to cut their inventories, reducing operating costs, and making significant short-term savings for long-term competitiveness.



Has provided safety and support at sea since 1833. With a fleet of more than 500 vessels and operations all over the world, Svitzer is the global market leader within towage and emergency response.


Maersk Container Industry

Develops and manufactures refrigerated and dry containers and StarCool (TM) refrigeration machine to the inland services industry including shipping lines, fruit multinationals and leasing companies.




In the efforts to create an integrated shipping, ports and logistics company, execution on the separation of the oil and oil related businesses moved forward in 2017.
