Alternative Services to/from Lisbon, Portugal

Following the events that have compromised the operations in the Ports of Lisbon, Maersk is happy to announce that we have in place a new product for our customers to minimize the impact of the vessel omissions in Lisbon.

Please take note of the Alternative Services:

Export:

Export cargos with Origin Lisbon, Portugal will have an intermodal leg, via rail, to Yilport Leixões terminal.

• Delivery of containers to be performed in Bobadela – ALB – Área Logística da Bobadela, SA. Open from 07am to 20pm.
• All containers must perform gate-in delivering the export customs clearances and with VGM updated via maersk.com – we reinforce there will be no alternative on customs procedures or VGM services after gate-in in ALB.
• Customers must deliver units on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the previous week of the vessel. Ex: vessel with ETA on March 20 needs to be delivered on 11-12-13 of March.
• The rail costs are 190eur/20’ and 290eur/40’.
• Maersk will not perform services to reefer/OOG/IMO (class1 and 7) cargos.

Import:

Import cargos with Destination Lisbon, Portugal will have an intermodal leg, via rail, to Bobadela – ALB – Área Logística da Bobadela, SA terminal.

• Containers will be moved from Yilport Leixões only on customs cleared status.
• We request all customers to perform customs clearances 4 working days after discharge of container.
• The rail costs are 190eur/20’ and 290eur/40’.
• Maersk will not perform services to reefer/OOG/IMO (class1 and 7) cargos.
