What is LCL?
Less-than-Container Load (LCL) is one of two main types of containerized transportation services. The other is Full-Container Load (FCL).
LCL is optimal when you don’t fill up an entire container. LCL allows transportation of small cargo volumes without paying for the whole container. We’ll coordinate, consolidate, and transport your cargo in a container, and you only pay for the space your shipment takes.
We can also facilitate documentation and help secure customs clearances through our Maersk Customs Services at origin and destination.
We’ll also move your deconsolidated cargo to your facilities or your customer’s doors via our integrated inland transportation services. Learn more.
