Effective date 17 October 2019, we have implemented a Cross Border Charge for Botswana for carrier haulage bookings where the mode of transport is truck that crosses the border into Botswana. The fee will cover the VAT and duties. If the cargo value exceeds ZAR 3.2 million, our customers will have to take out additional insurance as we are limited and cannot exceed ZAR 3.2 million cargo value.
This will be a flat fee which covers 1x commercial invoice, irrespective of the number of containers on the bill of lading. Herewith breakdown:
