Due to the continued increase in global fuel and energy costs, we are introducing an adjustment to our inland transportation charges
Effective from 1st July 2026 Non-FMC and 12th July 2026 for FMC shipments (Price Calculation Date – PCD ) until further notice, an Intermodal Fuel Fee will be applied as follows:
- Truck: 15%
The surcharge will apply to Inland Haulage Import (IHI) and Inland Haulage Export (IHE) charges under the following categories:
- EFS (Export Fuel Surcharge)
- IFS (Import Fuel Surcharge)
This adjustment is necessary to ensure service continuity, maintain operational reliability, and secure sufficient vendor capacity across our network.
The surcharge will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support. For further information, please contact your local Maersk representative.
(*) For non-FMC shipments, the price calculation date is the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first ves-sel shown in the most recent booking confirmation issued at the customer’s request.
(*) For FMC shipments, the price calculation date is the date on which Maersk A/S, or one of its authorized agents, takes possession of the last container listed on the transport document. For FMC, the Intermodal Fuel Fee applies from July 12th 2026.
