We would like to inform you of an ongoing EU Customs system outage impacting Import Control System 2 (ICS2), which commenced on Friday, 10 April 2026 and remains unresolved at this time.
Impact of the Outage
Due to the unavailability of the EU ICS2 system, we are currently experiencing disruptions in the processing of the following regulatory filings:
- EU Advance Cargo Declarations (ENS / ICS2 submissions)
- Vessel Arrival Notifications
- Temporary Storage Declarations (TSD) and other ICS2 dependent manifest filings
During this outage, Movement Reference Numbers (MRNs) and related acknowledgements are not being received from EU Customs.
Operational Updates & Mitigation
- All required filings are being held in queue and will be submitted immediately once the EU ICS2 system is restored.
- MRNs and customs acknowledgements will be mapped retrospectively upon system recovery.
- There is no action required from customers at this stage, unless separately contacted for shipment specific clarifications.
Next Steps
We are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with EU Customs authorities and will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available or once the system is restored. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this external system disruption.
Should you have any urgent concerns or shipment specific queries, please contact your local customer service representative.
We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing our work together.
