We would like to share an update regarding the current rail disruption impacting services between France and Spain. The Rubí tunnel has just been reopened, allowing rail operators to reassess circulation options toward and from Barcelona.

For this week, priority will be given to rescheduling the trains currently blocked between Perpignan and Barcelona in order to clear the accumulated backlog.

For next week, planning of all circulations has started. However, the line’s opening hours will be adjusted due to ongoing works related to the incident. At this stage, we are therefore not in a position to confirm a precise restart date.

We will continue to keep you informed as soon as more reliable information is available. Your usual Maersk representatives remain fully at your disposal to discuss alternative inland solutions to secure your supply chain.
