We would like to inform you that reefer power charges incurred at the terminal from day 4 will need to be settled directly with the terminal operator. The practice will start from vessel Kokopo Chief V. 608S (DX5/608S), estimated arrival date on 6th Mar 2026.

This will be applied for reefer power in the scope of World to/from Timor-Leste.

During the period your refrigerated container is plugged in at the terminal, the terminal provides and manages the electrical supply required to maintain cargo temperature. As this service is rendered by the terminal, all associated reefer power costs will be billed and collected by the terminal operator, not by the carrier.

What this means for you

  • Reefer containers plugged in at the terminal will attract power supply charges from the terminal operator.
  • These charges must be paid directly to the terminal as per their billing process.
  • The carrier will no longer invoice or collect reefer power fees for terminal provided services.

We recommend contacting your local terminal operator for further details on their tariff structure and billing procedures.
