Implementation of Cancellation Fees on Morocco to West Africa Trade

We wish to inform you that, effective December 1st, 2025, Maersk will implement a cancellation fee policy applicable to all bookings on the Morocco to West Africa Trade.

This policy is intended to enhance booking reliability and operational efficiency across our network.

1. Cancellation Fee Details:


• USD 50 per 20’ container
• USD 100 per 40’ container
2. Scope of Application



These above fees shall apply to all contractual bookings from Morocco to below list of countries in the West Africa Trade under the following circumstances:

• When a confirmed booking is cancelled by the customer after confirmation; or
• When a confirmed booking remains unused on the scheduled departure date

This policy applies to all contractual bookings from Morocco to following countries: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo

By placing a booking, customers acknowledge and accept the terms of this cancellation fee policy. The fees will be automatically charged to the relevant booking party and invoiced accordingly.
